May be manning a post at the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival taking place October 27-29 at Harkins Centerpoint Theatre in downtown Tempe. Putting Pizzeria Bianco and Delux Burger on the short list, after surfing into Feasting in Phoenix.

Posting from Georgetown, Texas. Drove out to Pea Ridge on Friday, stayed through the next morning. Met Evelyn and Floyd Carden, Bobbie's first cousing on her mother's side. Saw Deidre and Felicia, Bobbie and Ralph, and met Candy.

Mother gave me the number for Visiting Angels, a "Living Assistance Service" that they are registered with, in case something happens to her, so that Daddy can have someone come over.

Listened to some decent blues last night, live at the Loading Dock on the downtown square. Cute waitress, Bianca, a former professional softball player.

Surfed into a web-based word processing site. Writely seems to be the first Web 2.0 site that I have seen; at least it is the biggest jump I have seen in quite a while in terms of how the Internet works for us.

Returned from Mama Java's Coffeehouse the other night, and the performance of an extra-ordinary songwriter: AJ deGrasse.  Melody, lyrics, technical prowess, a wealth of influence in a captivating stage presence...it is all there.
